The group looked at John 6:25-52 in which Jesus said, "I am the "Bread of Life... Do not work for food that spoils, but for food that endures to eternal life, which the Son of Man will give you...The work of God is this: to believe in the one he has sent.”

The disciples asked for a sign and brought up how God provided manna for the Israelites.  Jesus answered, “I am the bread of life. Whoever comes to me will never go hungry, and whoever believes in me will never be thirsty."

Comparing the characteristics of manna to the "bread" Jesus offers.  The study group was challenged to think if they, like the crowd, are always asking Jesus to do something for us when He has already done all we need.  We just need to believe and to feed on that.  Jesus is the source of our spiritual fulfillment and therefore our worldly fulfillment.

Remember, what would it take to get us to feed on the true Bread of Life?
 (spend time daily with God and His Word)
