Psalm 34:15-18

The eyes of the LORD are on the righteous and his ears are attentive to their cry; the face of the LORD is against those who do evil, to cut off the memory of them from the earth.   The righteous cry out, and the LORD hears them; he delivers them from all their troubles. The LORD is close to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit. (NIV)

  1. The Lord saves those who are crushed in spirit.

Ever feel like you disappointed someone? Didn't do something right? Gave it all you got and it just didn't seem to matter or go the way you planned? Defeated? Wanting to give up? I have (often)! It's only when I take refuge in my Heavenly Father that I can rise again, in confidence, knowing He is the Creator, the Author, the Protector, the Provider, the Comforter, the Beginning and the End! "And we know that in all things God works for the good of those who love him, who[a] have been called according to his purpose." (Rom 8:28). Oh, how He loves you and me!

    1. Oh yes and I so easily forget that I can take that refuge. That's why I need the daily (if not more often) discipline to spend time with HIM.
